If you could only choose one of the two countries manufacturer to buy a car from what country would it be and what car? I know it's not that easy as most car companies have plants around the world, but I'm talking about the country of origin.

It'd be Japanese for me, though I prefer to buy american, but I do like the sleek look that the japanese cars have. Even if I believe german cars are better on gas.

German cars for me. German automobiles have a class that is unique. If the topic would be robotics then I would go for Japan because they are good at it.

The two countries of origin you've selected pose a huge challenge for me. I love Volvo's, but the new Nissan Leaf has attracted my attention in a drool-filled way. So I will select Japanese, but just by a hair.

I would go for German I think. Like someone else said, I think they are just in a league of their own.The Japanese are probably better at producing motorbikes than the germans though. But I am not a biker so I'd go for a german car if I had to choose between the two.

I would choose a German car. The German car brands hold the maximum of the market when it comes to luxury cars. Japanese might be good at making fast cars, but you get noticed if you are riding an AUDI even if you know that a Honda can beat you in speed. So it doesn't matter. German is what i would choose. Luxury over Speed.

If I had buckets full of cash and wanted a high performance machine. I would go German. But I don't, so I go for the little shit car with insane gas mileage. Which means Japanese. Honda or Toyota will be my next car. Though, right now I do drive a Ford.

This is a no brainer. German cars if you have a lot of money and Japanese cars if you don't although Korean cars are fast catching up though.
