Hello,

As per the subject, the power button on my Dell 2407 is no longer "clicky" and won't turn the monitor off any more Now for whatever reason, the monitor was in standby when I came to it this morning, so it 'woke up' when I turned on my PC. What I'm concerned about is if the power goes off, will the monitor be unable to be powered back on again? ie the next time there is a power cut, will it effectively 'kill' the screen permanently? For obvious reasons I don't want to test this by unplugging the monitor!
Anyone with a similar Dell monitor, if you can test this (ie with the screen on, unplug it and plug it in again and see if the screen comes back on) and post the result here I'd be very grateful.

Any help will be apprecited.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
