Many fancy hood manufacturers ( fiberglass, carbon fiber ) recommend people installing hood pin. It is possible for your carbon fiber hood to fail and fly off your car which did happen before. 

Required Tools:
  • Strong drill
  • 1-1/4" hole saw with arbor bit
  • Drill bits of various sizes
  • Philips-head screw bit for drill
  • Dremel Drill
  • #117 Dremel bit ( or similar )
  • Wrenches to tighten hood pin posts

This is an amazing hood! I ordered this and received it very quickly and very well wrapped. It looks absolutely amazing and have gotten many compliments on it already. It is a sure way to set yourself apart from all the other mustangs. The install was pretty straight forward but I did have to widen the holes for the squirter nozzles but was very easy and was actually the longest part of the install. The only defect was there was some issues near the vent on the drivers side where the clear was a little clouded but other then that it was perfect. I would highly recommend this hood and Auto Barber!
